A pale figure occupies the lower-left quadrant, enclosed by thick white lobes that might be petals or a hood. Above it, dark vegetal bands rise and bend into repeated arches.

The palette—swamp green, charcoal, nicotine grey—compresses nearly everything into the same low register.
