Founded in 2023, Sundazed & Outside Society was born to explore the rare and the obscure. We study vintage as both archive and attitude, and we’re committed to pioneering its evolution in cyberspace.

Our team—technologists, archivists, market makers—part research institution, part cult. We’re offering a curriculum built on the works of lost designers who, though technically defunct, remain spiritually relevant.

Pastels Are Not a Trend—They’re a Dialect

Every spring, we are gently reintroduced to the same syllabus: lilac, eggshell, fern. Spring 2024 (and, curiously, Spring 1984) marked yet another revision of this chromatic cycle—but with a certain tonal intelligence. These aren’t just pretty colors. They are semiotic acts.

The real designers—the ones who remember why baby blue matters—don’t simply use pastels. They interrogate them. They explore color interaction, materiality, and how a fabric can shift meaning by being sheer, structured, or unraveling at the hem.

Take Prada, where pastel sheer organza serves as a veil—not of modesty, but of distortion. The body flickers behind it like a lost signal.

Or Maison Margiela, where chaos is curated and the palette is weaponized—a disassembled ballet of what once resembled femininity.

Zimmermann bows to romance: a kind of tonal nostalgia rendered in floral brushstrokes.

And Collina Strada, in full grunge princess mode, sends a pastel fever dream down the runway—complete with references to AI, neural networks, and suburban rebellion.

We Believe in Time Travel (Through Texture)

Our ethos is simple: to make the forgotten feel urgent again. To give color back its mood. To treat fashion history not as nostalgia, but as toolkit.

We’re here to dig up the designers that disappeared before Instagram could document them, the color stories lost to warehouse shelves, the silhouettes that once bloomed in old magazines or forgotten showrooms.

This is not just resale. This is restoration.

This is research.

This is your grandmother’s skirt if she’d dated a conceptual artist in 1986.
